The softbox was positioned low and just out of frame near Nicole's face, with the reflector above her head to bounce a bit of the light downwards. The Neo 3 light was bounced off of a wall to light her legs and lower body. The wrinkled black fabric backdrop was a magnet for lint and cat hair, which led to some fiddly retouching. I think I now understand why paper backgrounds are preferred.
